Google finally spells out the usage limits for its various Gemini-related services for the three tiers of users
MANILA, Philippines – Google recently updated one of its Gemini support articles to expound on the usage limits of its Gemini artificial intelligence (AI) applications.
The page, “Gemini Apps limits & upgrades for Google AI subscribers,” lists the usage limits for its various tiers, from the number of prompts a free user has on Gemini 2.5 versus a Google AI Pro or Ultra user to the number of deep research report prompts or image generation prompts each tier supports.
For example, Gemini users without AI usage plans can make five prompts daily, Pro users can make 100 daily, and Ultra users can make up to 500 prompts a day. Deep Research use is limited to free users at up to 5 reports per month using Gemini 2.5 Flash, while Gemini Pro users can make up to 20 reports per day using 2.5 Pro and this limit goes up to 200 reports per day on 2.5 Pro for Ultra users.
A full matrix is below.

Google has said these usage limits are subject to change depending on capacity, with free users likely to be affected with usage limit changes sooner than Pro or Ultra users.
